Happy Friday and if if you are in the United States then I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving day yesterday. I enjoyed being cozy at home and savoring time in the kitchen cooking up a Thanksgiving dinner for the two of us and of course enjoying a piece of the Trader Joe’s pumpkin pie. And now we find ourselves at the start of the Christmas holiday. I am looking forward to the frosty mornings and winter sunsets and plan to savor the days at home curled up to a good book or even a seasonal jigsaw puzzle. I have the Christmas tree up and decorated and am enjoying visiting the shops to see all their holiday offerings for this year. And as we make our way into December I hope you have many slow days at home to savor and to plenty of hot drinks to keep you warm and I also hope that you enjoy this week’s Curated Weekly post.

MODERN CLASSIC FINDS
One item that I love from Ralph Lauren is their button down shirts and right now their Classic Oxford Shirt is 30% off and comes in two more colors.

A silk scarf is always a beautiful detail for any outfit and currently this Striped Triangle Silk Scarf at Anne Taylor is only $24.75.

I have seen many bookstack ornaments over the years, but this may be the first Bookshop Ornament that I have seen and I simply love how enchanting it is, especially for us book lovers.

If you are looking for a seasonal tea to savor this holiday then this Harney & Sons Nutcracker Blend sounds so cozy with a luxurious black tea that marries the richness of chocolate, almond, and hazelnut flavors with the delicate sweetness of apricot.

And if you’re looking for a cozy seasonal mug to drink a good tea (or coffee) from for not only the holidays, but all winter long, then this Quilted Ceramic Mug would make a great addition.

If you love to play Scrabble (like we do) and want to invest in an elevated set (or as a gift), this Scrabble Game Set from Mark and Graham would be a great option.

One of my favorite things to wear around the house is my cozy robe, especially in the winter and that’s why this Cozy Comfort Robe from Pottery Barn caught my attention. It’s also at a great price this weekend at only $39.50.

BOOKS
Starting off this week in books is a Francophile find with The Champagne Letters which was released this past Tuesday. Madame Clicquot builds her legacy as the maker of France’s best champagne while, in the future, a modern divorcée looks to her letters for inspiration in this vibrant historical fiction novel that is “sheer, sparkling perfection”.

Winter is nearly upon us and How to Winter: Harness Your Mindset to Thrive on Cold, Dark, or Difficult Days would be a great read for motivation to thrive during the season that a lot of people dread the most. A blend of mindset science, original research, and cultural insights for cultivating a positive “wintertime mindset,” to vanquish winter blues and find joy and comfort in dark times year-round.

If you are looking for an uplifting holiday romance this season then you may enjoy Christmas at the Women’s Hotel. Set in the 1960’s in New York, it’s a delightful novella about one lively Christmas at the Biedermeier as a follow up to the original novel, Women’s Hotel.

For the classic book readers, The Brontës’ Christmas: The Festive Season in Georgian England looks to be a cozy read this season too. While the Brontë family’s celebrations weren’t the most exuberant, Victorian society cheerfully embraced the newfound idea of Christmas as a time for feasts, decorations, the exchanging of gifts and parlor games. Through a selection of seasonal recipes, letters, poetry and extracts, The Brontës’ Christmas meanders back in time to explore long-forgotten customs, including Vessel Maids and furmenty; the spice cake that Charlotte took around to her husband’s parishioners; and childhood games enjoyed by the family. This festive season, curl up and experience a Haworth Christmas.

MOVIES/TELEVISION/MEDIA
Of course we had to start our list with the new season of With Love, Meghan: Holiday Celebration special. I am looking forward to cozying up to this special and enjoying all of the festive ideas and inspiration. Premiering on December 3rd on Netflix.
If you have Acorn TV then this looks like it will be a fun, seasonal watch. Jean, Dom, Judith and Jeremy attend an exclusive Christmas Eve event at the Musée de Sainte Victoire. But the festive mood turns dark when Jean is authenticating a newly acquired treasure only to discover a ticking bomb hidden inside. With just 90 minutes until detonation, and the museum sealed shut, this is Jean’s most perilous challenge yet, can she save the day?
In this video Parisian journalist and author Bénédicte Burguet shares the 16 luxury items that elevate her daily life. With the precision of someone who has spent years refining her personal curation, she breaks down the essentials that bring comfort, elegance, and intention into her routine as a working mother in Paris.
I enjoyed this cozy watch as Gallerist Lyndsey Ingram welcomes House & Garden into their 500-square-foot Victorian London apartment, with works of art in all corners of this perfectly petite terrace flat.
