Thanksgiving is tomorrow and with it comes the opportunity to cozy up at home with good food, crisp weather, oversized sweaters, time with family and friends, and for many, the official start of the Christmas season. I love Thanksgiving as it’s that sweet spot between saying goodbye to autumn and welcoming in Christmas. A day that seems to infuse the best of both worlds for just a day. I have my Thanksgiving meal planned out, a few items on my Black Friday list, and a cozy evening to look forward to. So, to get us looking forward to tomorrow I have created mood boards for Thanksgiving morning, afternoon, dinner, and dessert. Because I am a visual person I make a lot of mood boards for inspiration and plan to start sharing them here on the blog, so for today here is some inspiration for a cozy Thanksgiving Day ahead.
Thanksgiving Morning
Thanksgiving mornings are centered around lounging in cozy pajamas, enjoying a cinnamon roll and latte while watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on the television and lingering by the fireplace to keep warm.
Thanksgiving Afternoon
Thanksgiving dinner isn’t too far away, so why not take a walk in the afternoon to get some fresh air as well as enjoy the last of the colorful leaves. After returning home it’s time to cozy up to a seasonal book and to snack on an autumnal charcuterie board while the turkey roasts.

After making the finishing touches on the Thanksgiving meal it is now time to light the candles, put on a jazz playlist, and enjoy the Thanksgiving meal over light conversation and cozy music.
Thanksgiving Dessert
After dinner has commenced and the kitchen is cleaned, it is now dusk and the perfect time to slip back into the cozy pajamas, light the fireplace, put on a Christmas movie, and enjoy a Thanksgiving dessert to wrap up the evening.
