As we are now moving into the second week of November it is the perfect time to cozy up and start dreaming about all things Christmas. This is one of my favorite times of year and I love perusing all of the holiday offerings and thought it would be lovely to share an annual holiday favorite guide each year.
Taking the time to savor the holidays can provide us with the enjoyment that we long to feel this time of year. While it may be pushed to us that we need to rush and do all the things, we can instead set the intention to slow down and enjoy these sweet days at home curled up by the Christmas tree with a hot chocolate, a Christmas jigsaw puzzle and some Christmas jazz playing in the background.
This weekend I will sit down and start to plan our holiday for this year including holiday meals, gifts, and the events that we would like to attend. There is so much to enjoy for this time of year, but don’t forget to also enjoy some slow days at home savoring the season too. This list is not a gift guide as such (although there are plenty of items on here that would make great gifts too), this is a guide for you to curate your own elegant holiday season at home. There really is a beautiful art to this time of year: setting the table with elegance, savoring the warmth of good company, and finding the beauty in the balance between indulgence and simplicity.
